September Footnotes Addendum

Everyone is invited to a CNY Folksmarch picnic on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Green Lakes FM. We expect to get started around 11:30 am after you have worked up an appetite walking in the park. CNY Folksmarch will provide hotdogs, rolls, condiments and a soft drink, probably lemonade. Participants are asked to bring a dish to pass. It would be wise to bring your own place setting but we will have paper plates available if you forget. If you prefer to grill your own meat, there is a second grill available.
The shelter does not have a refrigerator, so plan on bringing a cooler if your dish needs it. There are a few outlets so there is the possibility of bringing a hot dish, although we want everyone to pray for warm dry weather! In case the weather does not cooperate, we will be allowed to have a fire in the fireplace at the shelter. Bring marshmallows!
Please sign the Picnic sign-up sheet at the September Folksmarch so we will have an idea of how many people are coming and can plan the amount of hotdogs to get. If you cannot sign up in September, please contact Adria Ripka to let her know you are coming. Adria’s email is:

We did not reach the minimum of 35 people for the bus, so the trip had to be canceled. Those Folksmarchers who signed up can pick up their checks at the September Folksmarch. If you cannot attend the September FM, please contact Barbara Crane at email: and we will make arrangements for you to get your money back. Non-Folksmarchers will be reimbursed by mail.
